On this trip, you will be traveling through the unique and beautiful nature of the Khangai region. As Mongolians say, '’seeing with your own eyes is better than hearing with your ears.'’ Travelers will visit the picturesque regions of Bulgan, Töv, Arkhangai, and Övörkhangai provinces.
You`ll visit historic sites from 13th century and Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape –UNESCO World Heritage Centre which includes Kharkhorum, the 13th century capital of Great Mongolian Empire. Monglolia is famous for being the homeland of Chinggis Khaan. The Orkhon valley has a rich cultural heritage, such as burial mounds, rare and precious monuments, inscribed monuments, inscriptions and archaeological findings that vividly show the culture of pastoral nomads from ancient times.
Erdene Zuu Monastery,”Jewel Temple”, was built in the 16th century. It’s certainly the oldest Buddhist monastery of Mongolia and inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in the category “cultural landscape of Orkhon Valley”. Erdenezuu Monastery was built on the site of the old Mongolian capital Kharakhorum using some of the building materials of the ruined city. Today, Erdene Zuu remains an active Buddhist monastery, and at the same time a museum open to travelers. This destination offers you a good walk around its area visiting the temples. Furthermore, you can also visit the Kharkhorin Museum with findings from the ancient capital.
You will enjoy having bath at Tsenkher hot spring. The 86-degree hot spring from the ground, containing many natural minerals, can relax your body and relieve fatigue. Lake, waterfall and hot spring coexist with nomadic lifestyle.
Orkhon waterfall is one of the most beautiful places that both foreign and domestic travelers and tourists wish to see during the summer season. It is formed by the Ulaan River, which flows into the right bank of the Orkhon River. The waterfall flows from a height of 24 meters and is about 10 meters wide. During the summer, if there is a lot of rain, it flows more beautifully and looks spectacular.
The Orkhon Valley is a rich cultural heritage site, showcasing the nomadic culture of pastoral livestock herders from ancient times. It contains irrefutable evidence and testimonies, including tombs, burial mounds, rare monuments, rock inscriptions, and various valuable archaeological finds. Notable historical sites include the ruin of the Great Mongol Empire Karakorum, the first Buddhist center Erdene Zuu, the meditation retreat of the first Bogd Zanabazar, the Orkhon inscriptions dedicated to the Turkic King Bilge and his brother, General Kül Tegin."
Thirty years ago, the Przewalski's horse, which was once critically endangered, has now increased to over 900 individuals in our country. According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List categories and criteria, the Przewalski's horse, which was classified as "Extinct in the Wild" from 1969 to 1996, has been successfully reintroduced to its native habitat. This achievement led to its status being downgraded to "Endangered" in 2008 and further to "Critically Endangered" in 2011.

Welcome to Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by Mongolgerege driver in the arrivals hall at the international airport or train station and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, free at leisure and have a good rest to recover from the jet lag. If you feel like going for a walk and checking out places nearby, feel free to ask the hotel receptionist for recommendations.

In the morning your tour guide and driver will pick you up and start your trip to Bayan Gobi sand dunes – surrounded by hills with willow trees, streams and bushes, and appear as a small desert in the center of the country. This sand dune is 80km long and the widest part of the sand dune is 9-10 km. Also, the sand dune called as mini Gobi Desert.
In the afternoon, we will visit camel herder family and explore their unique nomadic lifestyle and discover this magnificent place from on camel back. The sand dunes are perfect place for camel riding. Mongolia is home to 2/3 of the two-humped Bactrian camels in the world. It is a gentle, calm and extraordinary patient animal.

Today we will travel to across vast grassy plains, interspersed with basalt rocks and meandered rivers. Our slow progress on the damaged track leaves us plenty of time to observe the different scenes of nomadic life. Orkhon Valley recognized as a “Cultural Landscape” of the UNESCO World Heritage in 2004. Orkhon waterfall was formed by volcanic eruption and earthquakes some 20000 years ago. The Waterfall cascades down from a height 20 meters. Once we come, we will check in and have lunch. Take an excursion to the waterfall and explore around the nature.
In the evening, we will enjoy visiting the local nomad family to experience firsthand how people live in the country side and a lifestyle which has not changed for centuries. From there, we explore the around nature from horse back for one hour.

After breakfast, drive towards through forested mountain road to the beautiful valley of Tsenkher, which is the some of the lushest countryside in Mongolia with green forested mountains and meandering rivers.
There is famous Tsenkher hot spring that reaches +86.5″C, supposed to have curative properties for arthritic joints and other ailments.
Check-in, lunch at Ger camp and time for relaxing. There are you can do hike and walking around the camp for watching wild flowers. Have a relaxed evening taking a hot bath in the hot spring water.

In the morning, head to Kharkhorin, a small village, and one of the country’s major tourist destinations. Historically known as Karakorum, which was an ancient capital of Mongolia Empire founded by Chinggis Khaan in 1220. Also, Karakorum was one of the most important cities in the history of the Silk Road.
After lunch, we will visit the museum of Karakorum and learn more about the beautiful ancient Karakorum city and Genghis Khan.Continue to visit the magnificent and the oldest Buddhist Monastery complex of Erdenezuu, built in the 16th century, with 108 buddhis stupas. In the late afternoon, we will take 1.5hrs drive to Ugii Lake – is located up 1337m from the ocean level and it is a pure water steppe lake, which is 7.9km long, 5km wide. The lake Ugii is a famous for its birdlife. Check-in Ger camp on shore of the lake. The rest of the day free time for your own.

Depart for the Hustai National Park. This area is home to the Mongolian wild horse known as Przewalski’s horse (Takhi) with a unique landscape that features mountain and steppe. Lunch and check-in at tourist camp near the National Park.
In the afternoon, we visit the information center and learn familiar with the national park and wild horse. Take a short drive and walking to see the horses in their natural habitat. There is a great opportunity to take photos of these endangered horses. If you are lucky, you can see fox, deer, roe deer, eagle, and more animals and birds…

In the morning at 9am, we will return to Ulaanbaatar and visit Gandan which is the largest functioning Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. The main highlight of this monastery is 26-meter-high majestic gilded indoor statue of Megjid Janraisig.
After lunch, Sukhbaatar square which is lies at the heart of the city surrounded by important buildings such as government palace, banks and theaters and post office. There is an equestrian statue of Sukhbaatar and a massive Bronze statue of Chinggis Khaan with his four warriors in front of Parliament House. Continue to visit Chinggis Khaan– the museum presents Mongol`s history and culture from prehistoric times to the present day.
Next visit Bogd Khan Palace museum – the complex was a residence of 8th Bogd Javzandamba in 19th century, the head of Mongolian religion. The palace consists of seven Summer Prayer temples and the winter palace.Our next highlight in the city is a famous cultural show in the city, which is featuring traditional performances by singers, dancers and contortionists. It’s a great chance to hear Khöömii (throat singing) and see some fabulous costumes. After dinner, transfer to the hotel.
